Our legislators have been chipping away at the rights of many South Carolinians to make their own medical choices.

Last year, abortions after 6 weeks were outlawed, endangering the health of millions across our state. Meanwhile, parents and doctors were recently prohibited from providing life-saving, gender-affirming care to children who need it.

When I was fighting cancer, nobody told me that I couldn’t take this chemotherapy drug, or that I couldn’t have that surgery. I think everyone else deserves the same courtesy, and I will fight tooth and nail for everyone to have that right when I’m elected.
